PUMB payment cardholders connected to SMS-banking service can block the card on their own*, without contacting PUMB Customer Service Center.
To block the payment card, the customer needs to send an SMS-message** from a mobile phone to the short number 4682 with one of the following commands that are written in the SMS:

*This service allows the holders of PUMB payment cards to quickly block the card in case of loss or theft. To add a card to the stop list of the international payment system, the cardholder must contact the Customer Service Center or a PUMB branch.

After successfully blocking the payment card, a message will be sent to the customer's mobile phone number: "BLOKIROVKA PROSHLA USPESHNO". In the event of a failure during the process of blocking the payment card, the customer will be sent a message: "BLOKIROVKA NEUSPESHNA, POVTORITE POPYTKU".
The bank only blocks payment cards that were not blocked at the time of receipt of the corresponding command. Expired cards are not blocked. If at the time the bank processed the blocking command, all payment cards tied to the customer’s mobile phone number were blocked or expired, a message will be sent to the customer’s number: “BLOKIROVKA PROSHLA USPESHNO”.
To unblock a payment card, the customer needs to contact the PUMB Customer Service Center and, after passing through the identification of the customer, inform the operator of the card number that needs to be unblocked.
