FUIB – a participant of the Guarantee Fund the individuals’ deposits

NEWS:

• From March 13, 2023, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund will begin refunding funds to depositors of JSC "BANK FORWARD" under bank deposit contracts, regardless of their expiration date. More details here.

• From October 11, 2023, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund will begin refunding funds to depositors of JSC "UKRBUDINVESTBANK" under bank deposit contracts, regardless of their expiration date. More details here.

The maximum amount of reimbursement of funds on deposits established by law*:

until 12.04.2022 (inclusive)	not less than 200 000 UAH
from 13.04.2022 for the period of martial law and three months after its termination or cancellation**	in the full amount of the deposit, including interest***
three months after the termination or cancellation of martial law*	not less than 600 000 UAH***

* the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Ensuring the Stability of the Deposit Guarantee System for Individuals"

** the norm applies to banks, decisions to classify as insolvent or to revoke a banking license regarding which were made after 13.04.2022 during the martial law and three months from the date of termination or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine

*** except for the cases provided by part four of article 26 of the Law of Ukraine, "On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals".

FUIB is an agent bank of the Deposit Guarantee Fund and makes payments to customers of insolvent banks.

You can get a refund in one of the ways:

submit an application in the FUIB Online mobile application (section "More", button "Deposit Guarantee Fund"). Processing of applications can take from 1 to 3 days (this is affected by the day the application was submitted – a weekend/business day, working/non-working hours of the Bank); we usually process faster;
to submit an application in the Дія app ("Services" section, "Return of deposits" button), you need to have a єПідтримка card from FUIB or open it. Processing of applications can take up to three working days;
contact the nearest branch of FUIB (you need to have your original passport and TIN with you). Payouts can take up to 10-15 minutes.

If the amount of compensation exceeds the daily limit set by the NBU for the issuance of cash (equivalent to 100,000 UAH/day), the payment is made by crediting the excess amount to customer accounts opened in the Bank.

To receive bank deposits refund, the liquidation of which lasts more than 5 years, you should contact the Guarantee Fund (lists here and here) to update the depositor. The Guarantee Fund will notify you about successful updating. After that, you can apply for payment through the FUIB Online application, "Дія" application or contact the nearest FUIB branch.
